Parcel Delivery

Yarra Valley Taxis provides same day parcel and document delivery across the Yarra Valley. If an item needs to arrive today and a standard courier cannot move fast enough, we collect directly and deliver in a single run, with no depot stops, no redistribution hub, and no overnight hold.

What Kinds of Items Does Yarra Valley Taxis Deliver?

We deliver anything that fits in a sedan or SUV and needs to arrive the same day. The most common requests are urgent business documents, forgotten personal items, and small business stock that needs to reach a customer or supplier without waiting for a scheduled courier run.

• Urgent documents and legal paperwork between offices or practices
• Forgotten items such as luggage left at accommodation, keys or medication
• Small business stock, samples or supplies between two Yarra Valley locations
• Gifts, flowers or parcels that need same day delivery to a specific address
• Medical supplies or prescription items where timing is critical
• Equipment or materials for tradespeople working on site in the region

How Fast Is Same Day Delivery in the Yarra Valley?

Deliveries are collected and delivered directly, using the same fleet as our passenger bookings. Because there is no sorting facility or depot in between, the item goes from the pickup address to the delivery address in a single trip. Most deliveries within the Yarra Valley are completed within one to three hours of collection, depending on distance and driver availability at the time of booking.

For urgent items, call 0404 506 728 directly so we can check availability and give you a realistic collection time. If a driver is available, we can often arrange a same hour collection for addresses in the core Valley area.

What Areas Does Parcel Delivery Cover?

Parcel delivery covers the same geography as our passenger service across the Yarra Valley, including Healesville, Yarra Glen, Lilydale, Warburton, Coldstream, the Dandenong Ranges townships, and northern suburbs as far as Eltham and Diamond Creek. Deliveries into Melbourne are also available on request.

If you are not sure whether your route is covered, call 0404 506 728 and we will confirm the pickup and delivery addresses before you commit to a booking.

Can a Business Set Up Regular Delivery Runs?

Yes. Businesses that need a regular delivery run, such as a daily documents transfer between two offices, a weekly stock run between a warehouse and a retail location, or an ongoing pickup service for a medical or legal practice, can arrange a recurring booking. Call 0404 506 728 or email yarravalleytaxi@gmail.com to discuss the schedule.

Recurring bookings are confirmed at the same time each day or week so the run is predictable and you do not need to call each time. Once the arrangement is in place, your regular driver will handle the pickup and confirm delivery each run.
