How Do I Book NDIS Transport Through My Plan?

Bookings can be made by calling 0478 777 770 or emailing yarravalleytaxi@gmail.com. Let us know the pickup address, destination, time and any access or support requirements at the time of booking. If you are plan managed or self managed, we can provide receipts and trip records for your plan submissions.

We recommend booking ahead for regular appointments so the same pickup time can be confirmed each visit. For participants with recurring transport needs, we can set up a standing booking so you do not need to call each week.

Can a Support Worker or Carer Travel with the Participant?

Yes, a support worker or carer is welcome to travel alongside the participant. Let us know when booking so the vehicle can be arranged for the right number of passengers. Our drivers understand the importance of punctual, reliable pickups for participants with appointments or therapy sessions at set times, and every booking receives a confirmation reference so there is no uncertainty about the pickup on the day.

What Areas in the Yarra Valley Does NDIS Transport Cover?

We provide NDIS transport across the full Yarra Valley region including Healesville, Lilydale, Yarra Glen, Coldstream, Ringwood, Croydon, Mooroolbark, Eltham and the surrounding suburbs across the Dandenong Ranges. Participants travelling to appointments in Melbourne, including hospitals and specialist clinics in the eastern suburbs and CBD, can also be catered for. Is NDIS Transport Available for Early Morning or Late Appointments?

Yes, Yarra Valley Taxis operates around the clock, including early morning pickups for participants with appointments before regular business hours and late afternoon or evening returns. We recommend booking at least the day before for early morning trips so the pickup can be confirmed and a driver allocated in advance. For urgent or same day bookings, call 0478 777 770 directly and we will do our best to accommodate.

Yarra Valley Taxis is a registered NDIS transport provider across the Yarra Valley. If you have an NDIS plan with Assistance with Travel or Transport in Daily Life as a funded support, you can use your plan to pay for your trips without paying out of pocket at the time of travel.

What Trips Are Covered

We regularly transport NDIS participants to medical appointments, therapy sessions, day programs, and community activities across Healesville, Lilydale, Ringwood, Croydon, Eltham and surrounding suburbs. We work with Support Coordinators and can provide itemised trip records for plan management purposes.
