Hotel Transfers

Yarra Valley Taxis provides pre-booked transfers for hotels, bed and breakfasts, and winery accommodation across the Yarra Valley, available 24 hours a day. Whether you are arriving from Melbourne Airport, moving between properties on a tasting trail, or heading back to your accommodation after a late dinner, your driver is confirmed before you travel.

What Hotel and Accommodation Transfers Does Yarra Valley Taxis Cover?

Any pickup or drop off connected to Yarra Valley accommodation is a routine booking. The most common trips are airport arrivals and departures, transfers between properties during a multi day stay, and late night returns from restaurants or evening functions in the region. We service hotels in Healesville, Yarra Glen, Coldstream and Lilydale, bed and breakfasts throughout the hills and ranges, and on site winery accommodation at properties across the Valley.

• Airport arrivals from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to your hotel or property
• Airport departures for early morning and late night flights
• Transfers between accommodation and cellar doors during a winery stay
• Late night returns from Yarra Valley restaurants and private functions
• Same day pickups for early checkouts or late arrivals
• Multi stop days combining accommodation, wineries and regional attractions

How Do I Get from Melbourne Airport to My Yarra Valley Accommodation?

The drive from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) to Yarra Valley properties takes between 45 and 95 minutes depending on where you are staying. Lilydale is around 70km from the airport, typically 55 to 65 minutes depending on traffic. Healesville is around 95km, typically 82 to 95 minutes. Call or email us and we will agree a fixed fare before the trip is confirmed, so the cost is set before you leave the terminal.

Book with your flight number and we track your arrival. If your flight lands early or runs late, your driver adjusts the pickup time so there is no waiting at arrivals and no standing charge for a delayed landing. All terminals at Tullamarine are covered, including domestic and international.

Can I Book Transfers Between My Accommodation and Local Wineries?

Yes. Transfers between your accommodation and cellar doors are one of the most requested bookings during a Yarra Valley stay. Whether you want to visit Domaine Chandon, Yering Station, TarraWarra Estate or any of the region’s cellar doors without returning to your property between stops, we can arrange each leg individually or as a full day run with one driver.

This works particularly well for guests staying at winery accommodation who want to visit neighbouring cellar doors without leaving a car on site or arranging a designated driver among the group.

Are Late Night Pickups Available After Yarra Valley Restaurants and Events?

Yes. Yarra Valley Taxis operates around the clock, so a late return from a dinner at De Bortoli, Oakridge Wines, Levantine Hill or any township restaurant or function centre is a straightforward booking. Book the return leg at the same time as your outbound trip and both ends are confirmed before you travel.

For group dinners or private functions where timing is uncertain, book with a flexible window and call 0404 506 728 when you are ready. Your driver will confirm they are on the way and give an estimated arrival time. You can also email yarravalleytaxi@gmail.com to set up a booking in advance.
